About Kathryn

Kathryn has an impressive and diverse educational and professional background. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in 18th Century British Literature and Anthropology, a Master’s in Education, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Harvard. She began her career in the United States Marine Corps, followed by over a decade with the Central Intelligence Agency in various countries around the world. However, when her two daughters were diagnosed with dyslexia in 2012, Kathryn recertified as an Orton-Gillingham Associate with the prestigious Orton-Gillingham Academy. She completed an additional CELTA certification, specializing in Young Learners, at the University of Cambridge, UK, followed by a Diplome de Cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu Paris.

Kathryn’s leadership as the Director of The Rowan School and her work with various student populations highlight her commitment to education. Additionally, Kathryn is involved in consulting for non-profits that support indigenous communities and young girls, reflecting her dedication to social causes.
